Actually surprised that a lot of the critics I subscribed to havent mentioned that A Million Ways to Die in the West and Edge of Tomorrow have something in common. Main characters are sad-sacks who cant defend themselves and get trained by a badass female who becomes their love interest. In this regard, Edge of Tomorrow is better because Emily Blunts character is willing to die for the cause as opposed to Charlize Theron who becomes a damsel in distress in the third act when we know she is capable of defending herself.
