Actually, the picture below IS how enhanced interrogation works. Im surprised at how many people dont get it. Its ALL part of a PROCESS of breaking a person down and manipulating him in a way that makes him want to talk. No, you wont get any good information WHILE youre pouring water on his face, its only AFTER you stress him out physically and mentally - after you REMOVE the stressful stimulus and start treating him friendlier - that hell start to tell you what you want to know. So when you hear people say that subjects give up much more useful information from being nice to them than being nasty? Well... they ARE telling you the truth, but theyre not telling you the whole truth. Doing the good cop routine, alone, cant work without the bad cop. So youre being manipulated and misled by partial truth and withheld facts.
