Actually, we are independent but not free. Independence - TopicsExpress

Actually, we are independent but not free. Independence was political transition from brutish British colonial rulers to neo- colonial African rulers. Kenyatta and his lot were compromise candidates, and that is why Kenyatta opposed Dedan Kimathis radical view of achieving political, economic and social independence. When it comes to negative tribalism in this country, the perception that was created by the black neo-colonialists in Kenya is that, when the political elite of one ethnic community are in power, then the whole community is, and is safe. When none of any ethnic communitys political elite arent in power, they feel insecure and out in the cold. Ethnicity politics turned this country into an ethnic competition for political power, where the political elite of any one ethnic group feel that it is their turn to eat. Uhuru and Ruto are propagating the same negative tribal wave established by their predecessors.
