Actually...while I dont care for the messenger, a civics test would be a good idea. Many people dont know the history of our country. A part of the reason for that are the common core standards and being forced to teach to the test rather than making learning fun and truly instructional. Im not sure that I would necessarily make it a condition to vote, however. That comes too close to stepping on Constitutional toes.
