Adam Simon Christopher Hansen can you justify how making minimum wage 10.10 ab hours is not good? I feel even as a conservative that it needs to be at least that to sinpky reflect inflation from where it was in the early 1990s 3 bycks an hour. 10.10 comes to about 21, 000 a year which in reality is very little. I know contractors paying semi skilled laborers that crap. You can barely survive on you own let alone if you have a wife and kid. I understand non skilled entry jobs like washing dishes are not meant to support a family but there are many companies paying crap for semi skilled painter, construction, carpentry laborers so how do we justify this? Whats the point of people working being paid less than 10 an hour at Wal-Mart who are forced to collect food stamps Meaning we tax payers pay their food rather than their cheap corporate employers? Im conservative but Im also about honest fair wages. This is where I begin to lean toward supporting limited Unions for fair treatment of workers and wages. Lol I felt this already and now more so after talking to dad Harrold Fallon yesterday. I just dont understand how anyobe can survive off of 10 bucks an hour when milk cost nearly 4 bucks a gallon and bread two bucks a loff?
