Adam and Eve had one rule. Just one, but with us thats all it takes. Rejecting Gods plan. A rejection that set in motion a price God would have to pay with his son. What did God do? Did he get angry or destroy Adam and Eve for their sin? No, he went to look for them, to start the process of rebuilding the relationship. It reminds me of an old song, Trust and Obey? But, why trust and obey? Because it is the right thing to do or because we have to try and earn salvation? Or is it for our benefit? Heres what the song says, for theres no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. We just needs lots and lots of help from the Holy Spirit in the obey part.
