Adam and Even were created as natural beings with the responsibility to exercise authority over the physical world [only] (Gen 1:26). Yet as physical beings they had full access to God, who is a Spirit (John 4:24). Look at how Adam and Eve related to God on a one to one basis, And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day... (Gen3:8 NIV) Something marvelous and very special happened between creation and the cross. Man was supposed to exercise authority over the natural world only. But suddenly, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19 KJV) Hallelujah. It is an ADDITION an INCREASE! God has not left humanity to under the oppressive powers of darkness. There is a way of victory, there is a way out of being oppressed, repressed, possessed, depressed and be on top of these and every circumstance of life.
