Adaptability, Talents, and the Adventure of Life. The “Ku” is - TopicsExpress

Adaptability, Talents, and the Adventure of Life. The “Ku” is a Shamanic term for the power of flexibility in creating solutions (King, 1990). King (1990) offers the puzzle of a castle wall that one must ascend allegorically and suggests that the Shaman practitioner imagine multiple means of climbing it and overcoming it as it imposes itself in challenge in the reality of this existence. This practice is akin to teachings that “Awe Thor” has received in many forms, particularly the sage doctrine of adaptive leadership, coherence, and resilience (Heal & Engbeck, 2013; Turner, 2011; Heal, 2007; Anderson, 2010; McCraty, 2009; Leland, 2013; Engbeck, 2010). In this case, it is an indigenous practice that has perhaps been lost in translation as “civilization” has progressed that he wishes to discuss. This is about getting past the illusory terrain of seeing things in an ordinary fashion. It is also inherently difficult once seeing this way is achieved to still communicate at the basic level that others most likely will continue to operate and communicate within. Clearing is the talent that derives from understanding that there are no limits. This talent is relative to stressors and obstacles that challenge the freedom of the heart mind. One must constantly release these energies or suffer a loss of conscious awareness. Focusing is the Shamanic skill in the awareness that energy will flow where the attentive mind goes … and that frustrations must be replaced by efficiency in order to succeed in endeavors. A deep seated review of actual motivations is inherently necessary in this talent form. The Shamanic talent of Presence is about anchoring in the now and therefore, capitalizing on opportunities. It truly is a “game of inches” here on Mother Earth and in the land and age of overcoming challenge. The algorithms of the universe recognize the words, actions, and thoughts that are communicated….even subtlety. A Shaman blesses the path of another by way of wishing them well and encouraging them…even telepathically. The Shamanic talent of Empowering emanates from the attribution of energy towards and into something or someone. The ultimate flip side of this is disempowerment which a Shamanic Warrior can achieve by way of personifying an evil and thereby learning the way to conquer it. Dreamweaving is a form of Shamanic healing which is based in effectiveness as the measure of truth. It’s about taking actions as opposed to falling silent or into sloth. So much of today’s sociology is actually geared towards falling asleep at the figurative wheel so that a Shaman must be most careful not to fall prey themselves to the lure of complacency, distraction, and futility. This medicine is just what the world needs, and it’s no wonder that great minds now seek the counsel of indigenous leadership and medicine (as well as Free Masonry). So too did they when the U.S. Constitution was formed! Shamanism is about relationships, caring, service, and exchange (King, 1990; Engbeck, in press). It is essential that the Shaman practitioner and ”client” alike create a harmonic convergence within themselves. The Shaman also can and will change the world through their dreams and their careful and intentional manifest interpretation. Community Service is a centrality of Shamanism and is the ethical basis of shape changing. Next, the Shaman must build their own creative energy each moment as they can. The oppositions they face would derail this process, but it is essential that it be retained. The inner peace sanctum of the Shaman is the basis for their potency as Healers and bringers of outer peace. Symbology brings an uncannily powerful efficacy to the practitioner whereas communications are the center piece of the exchange of livelihood and energy. The Shaman does indeed practice of ritual and ceremony to initiate and gravitate solutions, and the pooling of minds speaks to the collective unconscious’s innate and perhaps supreme power. “Awe Thor” will offer that many things that the ordinary sociological normalcy of the 21st century mix overlooks are ripe with potentials that would scramble its very imagination. Is it possible that someone has usurped the human view of this set of truths? Who would do such a thing? What lesson(s) are offered? Where does the Human Hero find solution? Salvation?
