Added a little somethin somethin to the end of High Intensity - TopicsExpress

Added a little somethin somethin to the end of High Intensity Interval workout. First, the HIIT was Insanity:Asylum Vertical Plyo. For the record I dont like all the jump rope warm-up :( It kills your legs before all plyo jumping begins. Seriously though, all the jump rope warms exercises gets your legs ready for all jumping up-down-up-down thats you are going to be doing. This is real important otherwise the shock to your legs and back from all that up and down can cause some serious injury if my legs are warmed up. Still, it is murder on your quads and calves. This challenge after Asylum Vertical Plyo Glynn Whitney and I are adding 30 - 45 minutes of foundation weight training. We are moving away from 30s and 1 Minute Interval for a while. I just want to go back to weightlifting basic for while. Ascending and descending sets to really blast body parts. We split the body up into three different days. Chest & Back, Triceps & Biceps and Legs and Shoulders. The reason is with so much HIIT work I dont want to lose muscle mass since Im already lean. Adding a few pounds of muscle will keep the lean mass engine burning on high for a few months as it burns body fat. The key will be rest and consuming about an extra 300 - 400 calories a day of lean food so I dont drop weight or lose muscle mass. Im out. Remember...We dont back down. Ever! For the record and in the spirit of full disclosure I heard the line We dont back down. Ever! from the movie Glory Road. I liked so I use it.
