Addilyn could surely use some prayers please... Her fever continues to be on a roller coaster ride with the highs and then back down to the lows. Her respiratory rate is FOUR! Yes, 4 breaths within one minute that are shallow... This is alarming tonight only because shes been hanging around between 6 and 8 (deep breaths per minute). Im having such a miserable time pinpointing whats going on. Both nurses have said her lungs sound great which leads me to question, a) is she possibly teething (doesnt explain the rapid change in temp or shallow breaths). b) did the previous UTI not clear up with the last round of antibiotics or c) is it the natural progression of the disease where her body temp is from one extreme to the other and her RR is hanging low and shallow? I hope and pray its not c... I get so nervous and anxiety sets in when we get stuck at a low point... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE beg the Lord to help her breathe. Please pray for her strength, wellness, comfort and health. Shes on oxygen to help her out for the time being... I just dont know what more to do. Moments like this I wonder how Ill ever carry on... Please surround her in your thoughts and prayers. With love and thanks always...
