Adelaide trade Bernie Vince for pick 23. Im just gonna say it, Adelaide committed daylight robbery here. Vince had extreme difficulty this year with both courage and ability, a quick look at his average disposal count (20.6) is fine, but there was a lot of problems with his discipline, a good example is in the first showdown, in a one on one contest with Ports Justin Westhoff, Westhof slid in while Vince just sood there, Westhoff fired away a handball that resulted in a goal and comeback win for the Power, almost right after he levelled Chad Wingard with a late elbow in a marking contest resulting in a 50 metre penalty and another goal. That said Vince isnt old and a change of scenery is best for him, Melbourne didnt need a midfielder but they did need some experience. As for the Crows, they have finally broken into the second round of the draft and now have a nervous wait, if the Power cannot broker a deal to get a higher pick or offer their first round pick to Brisbane for Jared Polec, do they stand pat and offer a player or do they send pick 23 (which is higher than the Powers initial offer of pick 30), only time will tell.
