Adieu Nic, my friend, and my brother-in-law. Nic serenaded us at our wedding with his saxophone echoing over the waters of the Lake of Bays, taught me how to make a classic Caesar salad, and introduced me to fantastical drum rhythms. Nic Gotham was a gifted composer and musician, he had a keen interest in many art forms and gave me significant input on the development of my recent painting series. I am so grateful for having the privilege to spend those precious hours with Nic at the hospice listening to the live feed of a concert of his music just 24 hours before his passing. Balvis and I will miss you greatly; you were and are a great inspiration.
