Admin Please Read: Im not one to start drama around here. In fact, up until today I have had nothing but good experiences with buying/selling on various yard sale sites and even made posts thanking people for being so kind. So now I will begin my rant. This morning I posted a 37 gallon fish tank I have for sale for $50. Nothing wrong with the tank just had to upgrade to a bigger one since my fish is a monster. Immediately I received a message from Lilibeth Estrada asking if I would take $30 for it. I explained to her that I would not go any lower due to the fact that it includes a stand, newer filter, light with new LED bulb, and a bunch of tank decor. After a few minutes, she said she would pick it up today. I explained to her in messages & over the phone that the tank was at my fathers house in the Hammonton/Winslow area and that it takes me approx. 35 minutes from Galloway to get there and I would have no problem meeting her if she definitely showed up. She said she would be there at 3pm. So I got to my fathers house at 2:30pm and he had put it in his enclosed porch, so we got it out for her and I wiped everything down because it has been sitting out there for a few weeks now. 3:05pm I get a message and a phone call that she is just leaving. (Punctuality fail!).. 3:25 she pulls up, I go outside and before she gets out of the car she states the other woman in the car with her forgot her wallet and says well let me look at it first. She comes over & I am explaining and showing her everything. I show her the filter and say I wish it looked cleaner but you are not suppose to wash/clean these because it kills all the good bacteria & your fish could die.. She just stares at me. So then she says Well she forgot her wallet so we will have to come back. I asked who was buying it, her or the other woman. She said the other woman ... I was confused because all of my contact has been with this Lilibeth Estrada woman. Right from the start, I knew the whole wallet thing was just bullshit. How could you forget your wallet when you just called to tell me you were on the way?? You knew you were supposed to be purchasing something... DUH. So anyways they leave. 10 minutes later she messages me asking if I would consider $30 because the tank stand is damaged. I explained to her that the TANK is not damaged and that she could always in the future find a nice table/stand to put the tank on. My main sale was the TANK.. the other stuff was just extras. (The stand is made from composite wood so from being in the hot/cold temperature, towards the bottom back of the stand, it started to peel slightly - not a big deal no one looks at that part - they look at the fish in the tank). So anyways I took a screen shot from Petsmart site of the same tank which retails new for $150 for ONLY the tank - not including a stand. She then said that I had taken the tank and stand apart and she asked me if they would ever go back together again? I was baffled. I questioned the fact if she ever bought a fish tank before and told her that usually tanks & stands are sold separately and that of course they go back together, you put the tank on top & fill it with water - it wont fall over (*eye roll*). She said she felt bad for having me drive all that way. I told her the lowest I would go is $40 since I DID drive out there after all. No answer. I then asked Are you coming or not because I have to leave in 15 minutes? Nothing. Up until this very moment I still have not heard back from her. I feel that if a person does not want your item - BE HONEST. Tell me you dont like it/dont want it. Dont make me waste my time. I was there for almost 2 hours from 2:30pm-4:30pm because of this lady. It was rude & disrespectful and I would NEVER do that to someone. JUST BEWARE - SOME PEOPLE ARE SO INCONSIDERATE!! .. End Rant!
