Responsibilities: Assists with the preparation, implementation, and continuing evaluation of the nursing plan. Observations of symptoms, reactions, or any changes are accurately reported to the registered nurse. Maintains accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation. Competent utilization of equipment and supplies is demonstrated. Provides for the emotional/physical comfort and safety of patients. Foster cooperative effort by understanding the functions of other persons involved in patient care. Fulfills performance responsibilities as assigned. Maintains confidentiality in regard to patient and family. Demonstrates a customer service focus with both internal and external customers. Ability to organize, manages, and functions in assigned areas. Ability to perform selected nursing functions. Understanding and knowledge of development of plans for patient care and ability to participate in them. Excellent communication. Assumes other responsibilities as delegated by supervisor. Participates in Organizational Improvement activities as appropriate. Practices and maintains infection control procedures. Communicates and works collaboratively with all personnel and family households. Demonstrates a cooperative attitude and responds positively to suggestions, instructions, and discipline. Demonstrates knowledge of, and compliance with Federal, State and JCAHO standards. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current license to practice as a Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio. A valid drivers license and car insurance as required by State of Ohio law. Reliable transportation.
