(Admin delete if not allowed) I am the owner of Cafe in our area, and I am here to invite members to contact me in regards to supplying produce and product for us to either use in recipes in the production of food for patrons, and/or to showcase and on sell so that customers can enjoy local product. I am a big believer in local produce and home grown/made, and this will be reflected in the business. My passions lie in local produce, home made product, sustainability, and education in the how, why, and promotion of how our food hits our plate, whether it be at home or in a commercial situation. The Cafe itself has an Aquaponics system that will be growing as much as of our own produce as possible, as well as showcasing a sustainable growing method, and promoting everything from sourcing locally, to growing your own. This post is not meant as an advertisement, but rather an invitation to any suppliers who believe and follow the ethos of the group, and I invite you to contact myself to see if we can help each other educate and encourage everyone to enjoy the local produce and to be able to understand where our food comes from. I am located in the Scenic Rim, close to the borders of Ipswich, South East Queensland, and am looking forward to meeting anyone interested, in supplying anything from chutneys, honey, meat, small goods, fruit, vegetables, specialty lines etc, anything that is related to food and locality.
