Admin, if this is not allowed I apologize and please remove it. Okay dog lovers, I need help. This is my Lab/Beagle mix, he is an indoor dog without a flea or tick on his body. Under his chin, on his throat and down on to his chest, his skin is red, warm to the touch and slightly swollen. He is constantly licking at his paws to the point where he will have sore red spots with no fur left and the inside around his pad is red and swollen as well. When you do to touch it for handle those ares, he will do anything he can to get away as if it causes him pain and discomfort. Yes, he has been to the vet about it, four different ones actually. Every single vet said it was just allergies and prescribed some sort of medication. We have tried various pills, topical creams, different shampoos, all both over the counter and things that you can get at any pet store, changed the detergent I wash his bed with, got his new beds to see if it was the material, changed his food a few times and used different variations of household cleaners to make sure that wasnt the issue and nothing has helped in the least bit. I am wondering if any of you have experienced anything like this before and how it was handled. I am more than willing to try any suggestions weather they be store bought or home remedies. Thank you so much in advance!
