Admin pls delete if not allowed. Need advice... Bought a horse and had him shipped from AB. He arrived off trailer with rub mark on R hind fetlock. He appears to have some bacterial infection on it now. Just there no where else on body. Vet came and gave me an oinent for ir but it doesnt seem to be making any difference. Anyone else seen or experienced this? Thoughts on other things to try? Fetlock is slightly puffy but not hot and he is not lame at all. Vet shaved area a bit ...photo attached. Thanks for reading :)
