Administration and Finance Intern | Exploration An exploration company is looking to recruit an Administration and Finance Intern. To be based in Lusaka, you will be reporting to the Senior Admin and Finance Analyst. You will be responsible for supporting the exploration group by providing assistance to the Admin and Finance team by providing efficient, timely and correct filling of information. Your duties will include: reviewing and checking of field expenses in preparation for final authorisation by the relevant manager, timely Pastel entries to assist for the final preparation of monthly and annual management accounts, petty cash reconciliation, reconciliation of Pastel supplier accounts to customer statements and payments to be processed, monthly VAT reconciliations between Pastel and VAT submissions, monthly reconciliations of prepayments, collecting payment receipts from ZRA for VAT, PAYE and WHT, submitting returns for WHT & VAT with ZRA, filing – including creating labels for files, scanning and saving documents on the server, standing in as receptionist from time to time, making reservations for accommodation with travel agent or directly with hotels, in addition to ad-hoc administrative and accounting duties. To be considered for this position you must have a qualification in ACCA Level 2 or CIMA. Experience is not required but would be an added advantage.
