Administration neck-deep in corruption Political parties interested in Power than resolving K-issue: Hakim Yasin Srinagar, Nov 25, CNS: Chairman Peoples Democratic Front Hakim Muhammad Yasin Monday said that Administration, which is neck-deep in corruption, is insensitive towards the problems and sufferings of people. Addressing people in Chhildras hamlet of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, Hakim Yasin said that political instability, rampant corruption and malpractices have negative impact on common people and all these practices have choked them. “People are completely disappointed with the performance of the Government. The criminal silence maintained by the government on prevailing malpractices and corruption have created a wide gap between the people and the government. People are suffering heavily while political parties are busy in locking horns for petty matters,” he said. According to CNS, Hakim Yasin said that different stands adopted by different political parties on Kashmir issue have made this problem more complicated. People are frustrated as instead of reaching at any consensus on Kashmir issue, political parties are busy in finding ways and means to usurp the ‘Power’. Blaming vested interests for creating obstacles in getting Firing Range shifted from Tosa Maidan, Hakim Yasin said that these vested interests who are unaware about the history and geography of Tosa Miadan are trying to give it a political colour. “PDF has always expressed its concern about the presence of Firing Range in Tosa Maidan. People will get benefitted, once Tosa Maidan will come up on tourist map,” he said adding that his party is striving hard to get the Firing Range shifted from Tosa Maidan. He further said that his party can’t tolerate any delay in the construction of Sukhnag and Shali Ganga Mini Hydel Projects. (CNS)
