Cardiothoracic surgeons are adopting AtriCure’s ablation products for the treatment of AF during concomitant open-heart surgical procedures and sole-therapy minimally invasive procedures. AF affects more than 5.5 million people worldwide and predisposes them to a five-fold increased risk of stroke. AtriCure’s Synergy Ablation System is the first and only device approved by the FDA for the treatment of Persistent and Longstanding Persistent forms of Afib in patients undergoing certain open concomitant procedures. The Administrative Assistant for Sales will serve as a liaison between the sales team and AtriCure’s corporate office. In addition, this role will perform basic administrative duties for the Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing and the VP of Service & Sales Operations. DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS: Manage field credentialing process Coordinate payments for physicians Support field sales team in direction, organization, and guidance to accessing the appropriate persons and departments in house and externally Assist Area Sales Directors in logistics and planning of sales and training meetings Coordinate marketing and sales activities Serve as a liaison between sales and non-sales for both US and abroad. Collaborate with Professional Education in the coordination of sales professional training. Manage calendars, arrange travel, and coordinate meetings as needed. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years of relevant experience Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Proactive in spotting opportunities to support the sales team and taking initiative to create solutions.
