Financial Management & Operational Effectiveness • Maintaining expenses in line with Branch standards and limits • Maintaining & managing Fund Allocations • Eliminating PI Claims-ensure that all calculations are done correctly and pay correctly in terms of amount • Fund administration (where applicable) (non pensioners) - job role specific 40% 2. Embracing TCF • Ensures that TCF is understood and practiced by the people reporting to Line Manager • Draws on TCF management information (and potentially contributes towards the input thereof) to monitor progress in TCF and address short-comings relevant to his/her area with urgency. (General Staff) • Keeps abreast of latest TCF information and guidelines as from time to time (General Staff) 5% 3. Client Service • Ensure effective and efficient service delivery incl. both Internal and external clients • Ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered both verbally and written, meets both internal and external customer expectations and is complete without error. - In this service orientated business, clear and precise communicating is required, while building and strengthening relationships, upward, downwards and laterally with internal and external Clients. • The image of Alexander Forbes Operation & Administration must be maintained and improved by providing prompt, polite and efficient service. 5% 5. Role Specific • Processing updates(Bills & Receiving data from the clients) • Inputs the information from the Khanya/ Alex system for the system to maintain the members record. • Reconciling of contributions(Monthly) - Update member details (Id Numbers, Dates of birth, Gender, Surnames and Initials etc) • Load of members(new entrants) on the Khany/ Alex system • Query variances(Information that does make sense) • Provide quotation to the clients(how much the pension has in the pension fund or provident fund) • Provide ALM(Asset Liability Matching) to actuarial • Provide renewal data to insurance (any insurer) and consulting. • Prepare of Administration reports, Benefits statements • Prepare year end checklist • Process section 14 transfers and individual transfers • Attend to client queries that may arise from time to time or Attend to daily queries within turnaround time of 24 hours, and ensure that all narratives are up to date and accurate. Monthly Process • Depending on clients - stats need to be done monthly. - This indicates that the stats have been processed within a month and giving the client the broader view of the process. • From time to time, you may be required to perform other related duties and functions that may be reasonably expected of you given your position and the operational requirements of the Company.
