Administrator of the Facebook page Charlene Ni Chinneide said they will not tolerate any violence on the social media page or at the protest. “That’s not where we stand. We don’t agree with violence,” she told Independent.ie. “This comment will be removed and we will contact the individual in question. “Violence is not the answer and we don’t want to be associated with it. “This is 100 per cent, no 110 per cent, peaceful. If you are violent at the protest, we will ask you to leave,” she continued. “We need to get our point across peacefully. There are decisions being made in offices in the Government buildings and there’s no consideration to the people. “I’m a single mother, I’m 28 years old, but I’m not doing this for me. I’m doing this for my parents that are both OAPs and my seven-year-old son who will be paying off this debt. We’re doing it for the people that are struggling.”
