Admins please remove if not allowed!!! I am doing a Holiday Donation Drive benefitting Dallas Animal Services Collin County Animal Services and I need your help! I have talked with staff from both shelters and asked what they need the most, and this is the list of the most critical things they need: *THICK BLANKETS (This one is most important. Both shelters requested this. Fleecy ones are great, but thick ones are best for winter! If you only have fleecy ones, those are still awesome) *Wet dog/cat food for babies and the elderly! *Puppy/Kitten milk replacement formula *Treats for all shapes and sizes! (Both tougher treats to keep them busy and softer treats for quick bites are wonderful) *Big Cloth towels *Dog/Cat Beds to keep them cozy (those cold concrete floors are no fun) *Toys *Any other things you would like to donate to better these animals lives is welcome! If you have a question if a certain donation is useful, please comment below or message me! Collin County Animal Services has about 100 kennels and Dallas Animal Services has a little over 400 kennels, and both are overflowing with animals that have no home for the holidays. But this holiday season doesnt have to be so traumatic for them. Its a lofty goal, but Id like to collect blankets and/or dog beds for every kennel. But I need YOUR HELP to do it!!!! With Black Friday coming up, there will be a lot of outstanding sales to take advantage of if you would like to donate. If you dont do Black Friday or would prefer not to spend any money, anything you have around the house that you dont use is just as great! I will gladly come to you to pick up any items you would like to donate, or if meeting somewhere or dropping it off at my house is better for you, then we can arrange that as well. I will be posting constant updates for this Holiday Donation Drive on Vivi & Ellies Facebook page (those are my dogs) to help keep an accounting of all the donations we have received!
