Adminstrative Assistant (Long Beach, CA) We are currently seeking a customer service driven individual to join our team as an Administrative Assitant. Please consider that the environment is very fast paced which requires a strong ability to be able to mulit-task and prioritize. Responsibilities and requirements include, but are not limited to the following: Responsibilities: - Answer Phones - Data Entry - Filing - Create P.O.s - Receive P.O.s - Create sales orders - Help maintain customer schedules - Work directly with AR on order status for accounts on hold - Communicate order status to both the customer and internal departments - Provide copies of pending orders - Provide timelines to the department supervisor - Update and change orders as necessary - Work directly with the CSR team on any order discrepencies - Act as an administrative liason between multiple departments - Special projects as needed - Other daily, weekly, and montly responsibilities Skills Required: - Motivated, extremely organized, detail oriented, flexible, and committed. - Able to multi-task and adjust when necessary in a busy environment. - Able to follow through with assigned projects to completion within deadlines. - Strong interpersonal skills - Common sense, honesty, confidentiality, and discretion. - Strong Work Ethic Other Requirementsd: - 1-2 years of adminstrative experience - Ability to interpret and carry out a variety of instructions - Strong working knowledge in all Microsoft applications - Must possess good computer skills - High school diploma Hours: - Monday Thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Hours may vary or be revised as required. - Overtime and Weekends as required.
