Admittedly, in the past, I have been less than complimentary toward a certain segment of Doctor Who fandom. A segment who would never check out the classic series, and wouldnt stick around long into the Smith era, because they werent *really* fans of Doctor Who, just fans of David Tennant- and only interested so long as he was around. But I have to admit, contemplating getting into some of the older 70s/80s Poirot, other Christie series, or even picturing a new reboot a few years hence with another actor... I really am pretty much the same way with David Suchet. :-)
