Admittedly sitting here with tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat going through all of the tributes for Stuart Scott, the ESPN broadcasting legend, who passed away at 49 from cancer. Its funny I would feel this for a man I never knew, but to hear the way people were touched, inspired and influenced by this man; to remember how much I enjoyed watching and listening to him; to know how much of my perception of sports, sports broadcasting and journalism were based on his one-of-a-kind delivery, personality, and professionalism, I cant help but feel like the world has lost someone great. On NYE I wrote about the legacies we leave behind and the influence it has on generations after us ... millions will remember and forever be impacted by the character of Stuart Scott, take note.
