Adnan Pardesy to exhibit his latest collection “Labyrinth” at Labels and L’Atelier [Karachi: 3rd December, 2014] After participating at Fashion Pakistan Week Autumn / Winter 2014, acclaimed couturier Adnan Pardesy will be exhibiting his eponymous label’s latest collection “Labyrinth” on the 4th and 5th of December, 2014 at Labels in Karachi, 11th and 12th December at L’Atelier in Lahore and finally on 15th and 16th December at L’Atelier in Islamabad. The collection was recently showcased at Fashion Pakistan Week Autumn / Winter 2014 to widespread acclaim. “Labyrinth” featured well-structured tapered jackets, simple clean lines, graphic details, intricate hand embroidery with fabric manipulation and labyrinthine fabric twists and drapes. The collection is based on luxe fabrics including silks, crepes, chiffons, charmeuse silk and net. For “Labyrinth”, Adnan Pardesy took inspiration from psychedelic patterns and weaves along with Japanese weave structures, Chinese floral patterns, forest abstracts, Kalamkaari, Japanese Geisha, Greek temple landscape imagery, African tribal motifs, stencil technique tattoos, contemporary art with abstract imagery and Islamic pattern compositions. Not only this, the brand will also be exhibiting other collections, pret wear, luxury pret and also bridals.
