Adolescent Vaccine Clinic Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 9am-12 noon – Chapel Hill Office Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents will be having a mega vaccine clinic for ages 11 and up. Our goal is to have our adolescents up to date for middle school and college entry as well as boosters for high school students. Please call our office to see what vaccines your child is due for and to schedule an appointment. The Tdap vaccine is required prior to 6th grade. Meningitis vaccine is strongly recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC for middle school students with a booster at age 16 or older for college entrance. HPV vaccine is also recommended at age 11 and up with two boosters. Many camps and most colleges now require a PPD for completion of entrance forms.
