Adoption Update! Sometimes the pets we take to the television - TopicsExpress

Adoption Update! Sometimes the pets we take to the television stations are adopted by station employees instead of viewers. Here’s the story of television producer Randy and his great dog Sampson. I met Sampson when he came to KPLR-11 Noon News as a Monday Mascot. Sampson was shy and nervous but as sweet as could be. We quickly found he didn’t like getting into cars or going up and down stairs. I would have to carry him up and down the steps so he could be with us. Once I let him on the family room couch to watch a Blues game with me, you could instantly feel he knew, this was his home. He is now so excited to go up and down the steps, cannot wait to jump in the car for a ride and won’t get off the couch. Sam is so sweet, gentle and smart. He is so proud when he grabs the paper and brings it to our door. I cannot wait to get home to see his wagging tail and give him belly rubs, hugs and kisses and we cannot imagine our life without him. I can go on and on about what a wonderful friend Sam is, but my wife says I talk too much about him. Thanks again to the APA. You made the process to get Sampson so easy and the staff was so accommodating. We are fortunate to have Sampson in our lives.
