Adoptions are down. Monetary donations arent coming in. Times are tough. River Valley Animal Rescue is in desperate need of funds to help us through the next few months. We need donations to pay for vet visits and medicine, food and shelter, and transportation costs for the approximately 100 animals in our care. River Valley Animal Rescue is a completely volunteer run animal shelter. No one gets a paycheck, in fact, many of our volunteers spend their own money making our shelter a haven for unwanted animals. We rely solely on donations from you to continue helping the Kankakee areas abused, abandoned and neglected animals. Think the problem is too big or your donation would be to small to make a difference? If every person reading this gave $10, we would have enough to run the shelter for months.
