Adrienne and I went here one night, when we were in our late 20s... and just branching out into our sushi experience. The place (then) was clearly a local gang hangout, and we got a bit of a dirty look when we walked in - but we were welcomed enthusiastically at the Sushi Bar. The fish was really good, and extremely fresh. Extremely. We ordered Shrimp Boats, expecting boiled shrimp, with a bit of rice and a quail egg... We got two gigantic prawns fetched out of the fresh prawn tank... served up raw, with the heads placed on the plate, antennae and eyes still moving. Giant Clam, also fresh from the tank, sliced up and slammed on the countertop... the muscles were still constricting as we were served them. It was a great time, although a bit pricey. Might be fun to go back now that our tastes have evolved quite a bit, and some of the shock value is gone...
