Advance Entitlement August/September Advanced Entitlement Reps in the Lounge Scheduling Issues Council 44 Meeting Item 1. Advance Entitlement: Crew Resources posted an Advance Entitlement Bid this week with 35 ATL 717B and 65 DTW 717B vacancies. There are no surpluses posted on this bid. Returning furlough by-pass and new hire pilots will be assigned unfilled positions. Bidding will close at 1200E Monday July 29th. Item 2. August/September Advanced Entitlement: Crew Resources expects to post the next advanced entitlement in late August or early September with 717 and 73N Captain and First Officer vacancies and 7ER First Officer surpluses, with the surpluses more than offset by 717 and 73N Captain vacancies. We can expect more frequent advanced entitlements going forward as the 717s and 737s come on line, Network fine-tunes the block hour plan and retirements accelerate. Item 3. Reps in the Lounge: Your Reps are going to be in the lounge thru Tuesday; let us know what’s on your mind, or answer any questions you may have. Item 4. (Repeat) Summer Council 44 Meeting: Council 44 will meet Thursday August 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holiday Inn on Virginia Avenue. Guest Speaker Captain Rick Dominguez will discuss the Asia and Transpacific Scope environment. Please attempt to bid around this meeting and plan to attend as we discuss upcoming Scope issues.
