So the guy on top wraps his left arm around your head. It is on the right side of your screen. For this submission the opponents arm is the right and bottom gates. You will notice you can push these gates much faster than the other gates. If he advances position, the camera changes and the weak gates change again. Probably as the submission tightens, the less weak gates there are. Also the combination of gates you push affects how much the Submission Progress Bar fills up. And it delays how soon your opponent can tighten the submission. So practice escaping different submissions and you will learn the weak corners for each submission.
