Advantag Aktiengesellschaft, a leading German specialist in the European carbon emissions trading, announced IPO Geldern, 02.09.2013. The signing period starts on 2nd September 2013 for the listing at the primary market of the Dusseldorf stock exchange on 16th September 2013 The Advantag Aktiengesellschaft (ISIN: DE000A1EWVR2, German WKN: A1EWVR), Geldern, a specialist in the European Emission Trading (ETS), offers since 2nd September 2013 until 13th September 2013 new shares for signing at a price of 6,00 Euro per share. A total of 56,250 shares are offered in that corporate action. These shares are participating since 1st of January 2013. The signing of the shares can be done for investors by bank or brokerage account directly via the German regional exchange place Dusseldorf. The listing of young shares including the 375,000 elder ones starts on 16th September 2013. The company decided to use the listing at the primary market, a quality segment of the stock exchange Dusseldorf, where higher requirements exists. After the fully placement of all shares Advantags capital would be 431,250.00 EUR with a widely held stock of 35.07%. Advantag is successful at the leading group in Germany The Advantag AG is specialized as financial service company into trading carbon emission rights for companies in the European Emission Trading Scheme ETS. Since more than three years in this young market Advantag is working active and is member at several energy- and climate exchanges. Since the foundation Advantag traded more than 8,000,000 tons of carbon dioxide and counts to the big brokers at the climate safety market, which has a global volume of 179 billion US-Dollar. In the European Emission Trading Scheme ETS are more than 11,000 utilities under obligation, to fulfil their compliance with carbon dioxide certificates. With a ruled stepwise tightening of free allocations of carbon credits until 2020 – from 2027 on there shall be no longer free credits – a market with huge development potential has started. A further business part of Advantag is consulting and advice in carbon portfolios and using of carbon credits from global climate safety projects from CDM- and JI-projects. And last but not least Advantag helps companies and individuals to offset their carbon footprints with climate safety projects all over the world. The corporate growth is believed to expedite Advantag plans with the proceeds of the IPO the extension of the core business, the strengthening of the capital resources and cash liquidity. Furthermore the company will invest into technical assets and a new branch office through acquisition or founding. At the beginning of this year Advantag opened a new office in Poland. In addition the company plans the trading of green energy certificates, which can be traded since short time at the Leipzig European Energy Exchange (EEX) and the Commodity Exchange Bratislava (CEB). CEO Raik Oliver Heinzelmann sees Advantag AG comes with the IPO closer to the target, to become Germanys leading independent company in carbon emission trading. The company was able to reach a promising market position in the past and is now on the way to expand his competitive position. The fact, that the trading will grow strong with the yearly decreased allocation of free emission permits will bring solely a significant increase in turnover. Further on the company is working to expand their client base.
