Adventures in Caleb Driving Continued. Day 3, he asked to Borrow my car again. Reason, not a typical teen request, he wants to go shop at Walgreens. (this is where he went with his grandma every Sunday for a year) His spot ;D I smiled and said be back in 20 minutes. He then advises, that he will be back in 20 minutes but if he finds a stray dog to rescue he will stop and call me to say he will be late, I looked at him and realized he was joking with me!!! Good one!!! He calls me from Walgreens to ask if I want ice cream from Walgreens, I advised No Thanks. Five Minutes later he came flying in the door embarrassed , he forgot his wallet had no money or drivers license on that trip. Massive search for wallet occurred. Finds Wallet in car the whole time. I then advise he better get going again because I want him home by 8pm, He grinned bright eyed Your letting me try to go again. Yep, get going your burning your time up....he advises me that he need to change shorts so they have deep pockets for his wallet so it does not fall out again and he trotted off.... I have my fingers crossed he gets his goodies and makes it home with no problems :D Ah....having a special needs son= a worried...yet proud mom!! He defies the ODDS daily:D
