Adventures of the Old Guy, Thursday, August 29, 2013 Today I am going to Ann Arbor to watch my grandson’s high school football game. He has grown up way too quickly but I am so proud of the young man he has turned out to be. The Haig tradition of being a gridiron warrior has been carried on by my boys and now by my grandson. None of them became a quarterback like the old guy but I must say they were all much better players than I was. I wish Joe luck tonight. This afternoon I am going to visit Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum in Farmington Hills. It is listed as a major attraction in Michigan but I never heard of it before. This speaks of my next great crusade, which is to learn the promotion business. If you do not reach out to people interested in your work or product they will not even know you exist. My son Bobby has produced a children’s book called “BABY CAN” and both of us are preparing to have a launch party for our new novels. Stay tuned for further developments.
