The Company wishes to encourage applications from within and out for self-motivated, energetic and dynamic young persons to fill the vacant positions of Technical Operator. The person should be able to work under minimal supervision. Key responsibilities will include among others: • Operating - Operate the plants on time and throughout the shift. • Maintaining - Carry out programmed plant service & maintenance of their individual plants. • Reports – • Make daily reports in relation to machine conditions and production achieved. • Enroll the machinery spares requirement for the machine. • Materials used on production and spares consumed on maintenance. • Cleaning up their individual plants under their jurisdiction. • Oiling/ Greasing - ensuring the plants under their control are greased and oiled. • Collect production inputs from stores and uses them appropriately on the machine. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Higher Technical Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. WORKING EXPERIENCE • Three (3) years’ working experience in a related food industry SKILLS REQUIRED • Should be able to analyse situations and systems with a purpose of getting benefits out of the situation • Plant handling and management is key for this role during maintenance and operation. • The job relates with people on same level, shift and cross departments. The interpersonal relationship to one-self and others is very crucial. • The candidate must be able to read, write, make reports/ minutes and express him/herself with ease and articulate issues with comfort.
