Advice Issued For: Cherrypool, Brimpaen, Telangatuk East Fire Origin: 17KM NE OF BALMORAL Incident Name: ROCKLANDS - REES RD Issued: 04/01/15 12:07 AM This is a DOWNGRADED Advice message issued by Country Fire Authority for Cherrypool, Brimpaen, Telangatuk East. Fire activity in the Black Range State Park 17KM NE of the BALMORAL area has subsided overnight due to high humidity and low winds. Crews will return in the morning to continue work on the fire. The weather on Sunday is expected to be milder than Saturday but temperatures still in the low 30s with light winds. Fire behaviour could become more active in the middle of the day as temperatures increase. You are no longer under any threat. Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads. The next update is expected by 04/01/15 11:00 AM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: If you have time, check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions. Continue to stay informed and monitor conditions. Contact a family member or friend to tell them what you plan to do now. If you are experiencing smoke exposure, seek medical advice or call Nurse on Call on 1300 606 024.
