Advice Issued For: Hopetoun West, Hopevale, Kurnbrunin, Nypo, Pullut, Rainbow, Werrap, Yaapeet, Kenmare, Pella, Brentwood, Albacutya Fire Origin: 15KM NW YAAPEET Incident Name: WYPERFELD NATIONAL PARK - LAKE Issued: 22/01/14 10:15 PM This Advice message is being issued by the Department of Environment and Primary Industries for Hopetoun West, Hopevale, Kurnbrunin, Nypo, Pullut, Rainbow, Werrap, Yaapeet, Kenmare, Pella, Brentwood, Albacutya. Firefighters continue to work on the fires in the southern part of the Wyperfeld National Park, in and around the Lake Albacutya Park area. DEPI and CFA crews will patrol overnight. On Thursday, ground crews and aircraft will continue to identify and black out hot spots within the fire area. The Wyperfeld National Park and Lake Albacutya Park are closed until further notice. There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions. Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads. The next update is expected by 23/01/14 12:00 PM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: Review your bushfire survival plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. If you have time check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions. If you are experiencing smoke exposure, seek medical advice or call Nurse on Call on 1300 606 024. Stay Informed: Via cfa.vic.gov.au. Tune to ABC Local Radio, commercial and designated community radio stations, or Sky News TV. Call the Victorian Bushfire Information Line (VBIL) on freecall 1800 240 667.
