Firefighters have stopped the spread of the grassfire in the INVERLEIGH area and fire activity has subsided. The grassfire is under control. You are no longer under any threat. Roads at the corner of Mahers Road and Morgan Road, corner of Flemings Road and Barwon Park Road, and Flemings Road between Hamilton Hwy and Wisharts Road are closed. Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads. The next update is expected by 25/01/14 9:00 PM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: If you have time, check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions. Continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
