Advice Post: Just out of interest what age do you think its acceptable for your baby to be left asleep in their Moses basket upstairs in parents bedroom with parent down stairs and with a monitor? My partner works nights 10pm-7am so obviously works all night and sleep during the day. We have a 2 year old and a nearly 3 month old. The only thing I struggle with is keeping up with the ironing and normally do it when children are sleeping. My 3 month old doesnt really settle downstairs very well but as soon as you take him up hes out for the count. My friend told me to leave him up there asleep do the ironing the go up with him. I really dont feel comfortable doing that and when I told her I didnt she told me I was being silly and that when Im sleeping Im not watching over him constantly. Am I being silly? just wondered when others left there babys sleeping upstairs on there own. Thanks
