Advice for freshman: 1.) Not all of your friends from middle school will stick around; its not you. Its just called growing up. 2.) Boys will hurt you and lie. Not every guy is like this, but some can be dangerous. So dont waste your time trying to give them a spot in your life that they are only going to destroy. Same goes for the girls. 3.) If you need any help ask a teacher or friend. Ill help you out if you really need it. 4.)Upperclassmen arent all bad; just dont get on their nerves. 5.) I know how peer pressure works. Be yourself no matter what and stay real to your true friends. 6.) Watch where you sit, walk, lean, stand, or even step. Chew is everywhere. 7.) Try hard in class. With only 45 minutes of each youll need to pay attention and learn, so that you can do your homework. 8.) Stay out of drama and definitely do not cause it. Rumors and reputation spread around Preston High faster than a 8-legged cow. 9.) Its high school. Nothing too serious happens. Have fun and be calm. 10.) If the teacher forgets about homework, an assignment, or a test KEEP IT THAT WAY.
