Advice please--Im trying to help some of the young men who came in 2nd at the Teen Talent Competition. Two have been offered scholarships to SEMO. They each will receive $1,000 from the competition and another $1,000 from SEMO...but I hear it costs nearly $15k a year to go and apparently they dont have much guidance because they have not been very proactive about applying for scholarship funds or loans. I dont even know what to tell them. Any advice? Where to look for funds? How to get a loan (without zillion % interest rate)? Thanks in advance.
