Advise please. I have a rescue group, The Bryis Meows and More Rescue. I currently have a one year old pure bred Siberian. She was an owner turn in to a local shelter. Then said she wasnt getting along with the family. Her paperwork said that she does not like men or children. This cat is throwing me such mixed signals Im feeling so frustrated. She is very needy, loves being rubbed and having attention. She purrs and head butts loving it. Out of nowhere though she will attack. Its not play aggression. Its not petting aggression. Tonight I was sitting on the bed with her talking to my husband. We were remarking about how great she was being. She then, out of nowhere, attacked my hand. Sunk her teeth into my hand and chomped down. You can imagine how much this hurt. There was no body language warning me. Im taking her in to the vet this week for some blood work to see if health wise we have an issue. Does anyone have experience with this? Any suggestions? You can photos of her on my rescue page.
