Adweek says Cadillacs Poolside is number 3 on the epic brand fail list for 2014. True enough. The spot drew the ire of a lot of people. So be it. It gets my vote for ballsiest advertising of the year. Whatever you think of it, go take one last cruise down 2014s memory lane of forgettable car advertising and its hard not to agree that, if nothing else, the spot dared to say something big and daring and raucous and it deserves points for that in my book.
