Affidavits are printed!! I would like now enlist the help of some volunteers to (1) call/visit places you may have connections with to see if/when they will allow us to be on their property to collect signatures and (2) help man those posts. My thoughts are first, to be at IGA from lets say 5:00-7:00 Thursday night, so people can stop by before the School Committee meeting that night. I HAVE A CALL INTO IGA ALREADY. Second, I think it would be a good idea to be stationed along 140 at commute times, both morning and evening if possible, at locations where it would not cause a traffic nuisance. I HAVE A CALL INTO THE IRVING GAS STATION, but will not have a response until the weekend. Is anyone willing to make the ask of the following places? Farm Stand Cornerstone Church Little Anthonys Deck hockey rink Or maybe farther up into town at the Valero gas station/Gourmet Donuts, other ideas? Then, with school folks in mind, places like the following as teachers are coming to and from their work day: RiteAid Belletetes CVS Broadview Murdock farm I also have the ask in at the bowling alley to maybe scoop up some weekend/evening folks.
