Afghan government optimistic about the new economic policy Afghan Ministry of Economy is optimistic about the new economic policy that is expected to bring visible changes to the economy of the country within three years. According to the Ministry’s spokesperson, Najibullah Amin, the new policy includes mines extraction, energy generation and infrastructure development projects. He added that the implementation of the new policy required long term international support. Amin assured that the new policy would generate job opportunities for thousands of Afghans and would be prepared in accordance with the economic policy of the country. Meanwhile, Deputy Head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI), Atiqullah Nusrat, called on the government to integrate the private sector into the new policy. “The past several policies that were made were not implanted properly,” Tolo News quotes Nusrat. “We want the government to investment in such programs so that private sector is able to offer better services.” wadsam/afghan-government-optimistic-about-the-new-economic-policy-232/
