Afraid of a world so dark and lonely Lost in thoughts that won’t go away. Why do I have nothing to say Nothing to feel. It is like I have become a forged piece of steel. My emotions run high And my anger is as fierce And as dark as a night sky. If you knew me at all, you would cower in fear And you would run and hide nowhere near. I will not give up And I will not give in. This world cannot beat me And this world cannot tame me. I am myself and I believe in myself. I won’t be tossed away on top of some old shelf. I am a force to be reckoned with. And for that you should know that I will always be so.
