Below is a schedule of events for the day: 2013 AABF SCHEDULE 10:00 AABF Author Showcase 11:00 Anita Richmond Bunkley Ms. Bunkley will read from her latest work and discuss her life as a writer. 11:30 Literary Discussion: Benefits and Losses of the Great Migration: A Discussion of The Warmth of Other Suns Facilitator: Professor Roland Hayes, Austin Community College 12:30 Literary Discussion: Love in the Age of Hip-Hop: A Discussion of A Deeper Love Inside: The Porshe Santiaga Story Facilitator: Dr. Mark Cunningham, LBJ High School, Austin Community College 1:30 Dr. Michael Collins Dr. Collins will discuss and sign his work on Black Arts Movement poet Etheridge Knight. Zell Miller will recite Knight’s work. 2:30 Terry McMillan Ms. McMillan will read/discuss/sign her work as well as speak about the historical and contemporary achievements of Black literature.
