Africa’s Roman Emperor Septimus Severus [13th April Anno Domini 193 –Anno Domini 211]. Roman Emperor Septimus Severus had two sons by his Phoenician wife called; Caracalla and Geta, who would rule Rome following his death. I would tell you racist were at work with the account of his history, however, later historians have acknowledged, and or accurately recorded his purge of the judiciary correcting many of their abuses which had ‘infected’ every part of government; his judgements in favour of the poor and his proper Administration of Law, restoring confidence in the system. We’ve all seen the films depicting ’all’ Romes Emperors as Caucasian folk! And it must be asked, if, as some historians maintain Septimus Severus was such a despot, why depict him as other than a Black skinned African. The Military genius of Severus cannot be exchanged; for it was he who marched on the Danube and submitted all in his wake to his domination. To one of his sons, he gave EUROPE as vassal states! And West Africa!!! There is nothing in the Roman Histories that suggest or imply that a Black skinned African was considered ill-suited to the position of global leader, Head of State or Emperorof the World. The armies of Rome supported Septimus Severus because he marched on foot in complete armour, rarely slept, rarely ate, and was satisfied to share the hardships with the meanest soldiers at the ‘head’ of his colomns; fearing neither injury or death. This kind of bravery and fearlessness inspires affection in troops. Yet Septimus Severus was to be whitewashed by European historians, bent on deceiving their people into believing, that they possessed a courage they never had; whilst denying Black skinned men knowledge of their hero’s to inspire them! The history books have to be rewritten by us. For you cannot take the courage of one race and strap it to a race that did naught to earn such valour. All you get with that is invasions, occupations and Abu Ghraib’s!!!
